Shore Cottage was located on the edge of the River Clyde at Inner Brigurd Point and was a 2 bedroom property with large loft area accessible from outside stairs and also featured a small garden.

It was susceptible to the rough weather and during high tides it would be frequently flooded but that was to be expected considering its location.

It was constructed some time in the mid 19th century and demolished in 1990 when the tenant at the time died. As the property was owned by British Nuclear Fuels who operated the power station they took the first opportunity they had to make it vanish.
