On the top of Goldenberry Hill is a mobile phone transmitter, it is located on Ardneil land and not Hunterston but is listed here as its on the hill.

It was constructed in 1992 and operated by EE and Three and is 15 metres in height and has a power output of 29 dBW and broadcasts on frequency 1800 Mhz, and 2100 Mhz
