Squash Court
To the immediate south of the main building is a squash court. This is a self contained building made of brick and inside is lined with wood and has a viewing area and also a changing area in a room next to it. The court is in good condition and is just used for storage now but could easily be transformed into a fully functional squash court again.
While I was growing up and the court was empty used to play squash myself in this place and was fun although my father disapproved and shortly after that place became a place to put odds and end that were not being used on the estate.
It is not know when it was last used as a dedicated squash court but like the tennis court could be in excess of 50 years.
