South Cottage
You will find South Cottage opposite the carpark. It is named south cottage as it points southwards. When the extention of the castle buildings were built the south portion was used as storage and sheds but also as stables and milking parlour.

In the 1960s part of it was converted into a cottage and that is still known today as South cottage. In the late 1970s till mid 1980s the cottage lay empty before it was occupied again.

In the late 1990s the whole of the south portion of buildings were convered into flats and now there are 2 seperate accomodation units.
