There were three different outside toilets at the castle buildings complex, one was located in the end shed and served Upper and Lower cottages and although the building still stands only the waste pipe is visible.

The second toilet was located next to the entrance of the Telephone Shed and served Central and West Cottages. Up until the late 1990s these toilets still existed and were in very good condition with all the original features. There were two separate toilets, one with a sink and one without, but when the whole of the South building was redeveloped into flats the toilets disappeared for good.

The third toilet is located under the stairs of North Cottage and still exists. It still remains in its original state with a water supply and comprises of a toilet with sink and one without but the doors were nailed shut so not been seen or used in over 25 years.
