The first of the garages was located in the south building complex between the stick shed and the telephone shed. This garage was used to house the estate vehicle and during the 1980s it was a Renault 4 van and in later years was a small 4x4 Suzuki jeep.

The garage was quite big and used to house some machinery for the main tractor and also the fencing for the pheasants that were reared on the estate.

This part of the building was once stables for the horses and prior to 1960 it would have had various uses before being converted into a garage.

In the late 1990s the garage disappeared after being converted into cottage accommodation. The garage was located where the window is to the right of the centre yellow alarm box.
