Bridges
There are five bridges at Hunterston and all cross the Burn Gill. The first one is on Highthorne Road prior to the Beech Avenue and called Millstonford Bridge , the second is along the Beech Avenue called the Burn Gill Bridge, the third is located half way along the burn gill allowing access to the fields. The fourth is under the oil rig road and the fifth is on the old Largs Avenue. All are shown in yellow.
The bridge that is located under the A78 and is near Millstonford is called Highthorn Bridge. In theory I think they have them named the wrong way round as the names do not corresepond to their locations.
