Beech Avenue
The Beech Avenue is located between Highthorne Road and the castle Avenue/Old Road and stretches for about 3/4 of a mile. Officially the trees continue down to the castle via the Old Road but there are not may remain standing due to weather and natural disasters.

Behind the main beech Avenue trees there are a mix of Sycamore and Oak trees. Along the strech of the avenue there is a small stone wall a few feet in height but due to age and tree roots it is also in poor repair and also somewhat hidden from view due to grass and moss.
